The kids arrive and straight away are greeted by our Funky Moves team with colouring and quizzes to keep them occupied. They are split into teams based on their ages and are introduced to their Funky Mover who will look after them for the four mornings. The days are split up into different fun activities all based around a theme, including arts & crafts, learning a super cool dance, playing games, fancy dress and even a special break dance workshop and performance on one of the days (not included at Dulwich Day Course). We always come together at the end of the day, to show the other teams what we have been up to and finish the morning on a high! There is a real community feel and all the kids become part of the Funky Moves family for the duration. The emphasis is on fun, friends and of course funkiness… We can’t wait to see you there!
Please Note: Ensure your child is wearing suitable clothes and shoes. Trainers or plimsoles are perfect for little dancing feet, and their clothing should be comfortable and easy to move in. Leggings and loose trousers (instead of shorts/skirts) are also great as we often include floor work in the routines.
